Thank you Neil for all your hard work ( I think Rally Travel helped to make someones birthday a very "special" day in the hotel at breakfast and again in the evening with a delicious birthday cake. The rally itself was a joy, stages close to Trier, with great viewing, the atmosphere at Dhrontal was incredible, the welcome greeting for drivers such as Petter Solberg, Loeb and Prokop was tremendous. Pleased to see the 2011 events posted on your web, adding a few to my Christmas Wish List! Many thanks once again, and see you soon."

Submitted: 23rd Aug 2010 Rally: Germany 2010"Brilliant weekend with cracking weather. Hotel chosen by RT was perfectly placed very near to town centre, rally HQ, parc ferme and ceramonial start. It was a trek on foot to the service park but 4 out of 5 aint bad. Hotel food was nice with very helpful staff. Rally Travel Sat nav co-ordinates were spot on, well worth paying for, hardly any queues not like Welsh rally, great viewing spots, and the missus gets a pic with Neil Cole which made her week. All in all, pay your money and book with RT. "

The organisation of hire car and appartment was first class. Neil was very friendly and helpful with advice. The documentation provided was excellent. The 'road book' with directions to the stages was superb, including he 'tricky Loule one way system'. We will definately use Rally Travel for an event in the future. PS. I never did get my 10 Turkish Lira back!"

We have been to a number of rallies now and it never fails to amaze me the effort you guys put into these events. Getting so close to the action and being a part of the whole rally weekend is a special feeling. The accommodation is worth a mention, very spacious rooms and right on the marina where there are various bars/restaurants. Every night we saw several WRC stars, on the friday Henning Solberg and his mates were on the next table from us at dinner. We then joined him for drinks before an early departure from the big man! Guess he had day 02 to concentrate on! A very well organised trip and the distance of the stages from the hotel was a bonus - maximum 40mins. We will be back to Villamoura whether its rally weekend or not. We will also be back with Rally Travel.....destination unknown....Finland we hope!!"

Submitted: May 2010 Rally: Portugal 2010"As usual the RallyTravel part of the organisation was very good and Neil was, as usual, fully organised and on top of the rally and the associated R&R in Vilamoura, as well as being good company and adept at providing progress reports and other information as the rally progressed. Hotel, transfers, transport to and from the stages and the information about the opportunities for viewing were all top notch. The weather RallyTravel had booked was great! At the service park, the VIP visits to Petter Solberg and Ford were all upto the usual standard and the opportunity to chat at length with Petter and Phil was excellent, though we did witness upclose and personal the arrival of Jari-Matti’s stricken Focus which was sad. "

It’s almost 2010 now.. but - another excellent rally arranged for us by Rally Travel to Finland and many thanks to you Christine and David for your part in the organisation of our trip. We have been to Rally Finland with RT previously, on the escorted tour each time (thoroughly enjoyed each..) but decided this time to ‘do’ a self-drive. Rally pack contained plenty of information as to suggested viewing and the GPS co-ordinates were absolutely spot on.. future ‘self-drivers’ - do acquaint yourself with the laws regarding parking and then you can avoid the parking fines.. Excellent, informative initial meeting at the Kerruselka hotel but sorry to have to say it Neil; you were slightly (only slightly!) outshone by Julian and Mikko on the Thursday!! These Rally Travel welcome meetings are an opportunity – as far as I am aware - that not many get and to see the enthusiasm and commitment at such close quarters both from the interviewer and the interviewee, it does suggest that it’s not ‘just a job’ to them… When are you going to have Pernilla, Petter and Phil as Rally Travel guests? Still planning further trips with Rally Travel for 2010.. not yet decided but will definitely be going somewhere.. As always, grateful thanks Sue and John Rhodes "

We still managed to get lost of way to the first stage on sunday in the dark but thanks to the info pack easily managed to re-plan our day. We couldn't fly out until Saturday morning and Rally Travel were really helpful when booking the package - all the info was spot on. My highlight of the weekend was getting a photo with Seb and giving him a peck on the cheek!!!"

This was our fifth time out in Spain, and fourth in Salou, and it's a great event. The weather was perfect again this year and the racing was brilliant. A big thanks to Neil and Jeff for their help and a few laughs over the weekend, and for sorting us out with the Ford and Solberg VIP service tours - highly recommended for the autograph hunters!!! We'd also like to congratulate them on the pre-event auction night at Puerto Principe nightclub, which was attended by all the top drivers and made for a great way to kick off the weekend. We had high expectations of the rally before hand...all of which were exceeded and blown completely out of the water. Its the rally of a lifetime and what an amazing experience and atmosphere to be caught up in. Awe-inspiring to see the emotion and spirit of the Finish people towards their own drivers, especially when Mikko is winning and Jari Matti not far behind. We went on the Ford VIP tour which comes highly recommended and we'd like to say thanks to Rally Travel/ M-Sport for the opportunity. Not forgetting the after-rally party, what a night to rememeber in Jyvaskyla, celebrating in style with the teams, drivers and co-drivers & mechanics!!! It's nice to see the teams letting their hair down and having a really good time with everyone that was there!"

Took the self drive tour and the maps provided by Rally Travel were perfect. Never got lost!! The stages where unreal, got that close to the cars, we were covered in dust. The speed, the jumps, the corners, everything was amazing. Had VIP tour with Petter Solberg and we got to meet & greet him and got our photo's taken aswell. He's a really nice charming man!! This was our first time going to a rally outside of Ireland, and of course it had to be Finland, the home of rallying. The support is amazing and this holiday was one great experience. The only way to describe this rally holiday is EXCELLENT - from start to finish, the Punta Negra for our first two nights was a super hotel and a great relaxing way to start the rally then up to Porto Cervo where the hotel, it’s location; hospitality; staff; other guests; scenery, in fact everything was superb.. The organisation of the trip was excellent Neil, Thank you! lots of information; easy access to the stages and the hospitality visit to PSWRT was the icing on the cake for me (Sue).. The hotel was excellent and the hospitality extended by the hotel staff was superb, the instructions to get us back to the airport were spot on… The scenery, as you would expect, was stunning. Bit of a shock to the system on shakedown morning - have experienced cold weather but this was something else.. Fabulous blue skies, sunshine and lots and lots of snow, real picture postcard stuff – magical. Again excellent travelling companions on the coach and new acquaintances made and previous ones renewed. We have not been disappointed yet with Rally Travel and their organisation of our rally trips. One of the highlights was of course the VIP visit to PSWRT after shakedown. Petter and Phil were very relaxed with us and Petter was happy with the car. Pernilla gave us a very warm welcome too and we all came away excited about experiencing that opportunity. So thanks to David and Neil for giving us that! A great hotel too in Porto Cervo - the place for the jetset!....and oh yes, it goes without saying but the viewing and photographic opportunities on the stages were good....but we have come to expect that now from Rally Travel (this was our 4th time on an escorted tour). We are debating where to go next year!"

Submitted: April 2009 Rally: Portugal '09"I'm a regular rally-goer from Germany but this was my first time with Rally Travel. As a female travelling to rallies alone, each rally provides adventures galore but also causes an enormous amount of organisation. Once driving around alone, the Rally Travel stage info on how to get to the stages proved very useful with the help of the tripmeter and the detailed area map. During Day One, when some Portuguese and Spanish spectators got wind of the fact that I had such good instructions from Rally Travel, I had to translate them into Portuguese and Spanish for next day's stages! Thanks to David for the full results list at the end of each day which kept me up-to-date. My hire car's tyres were already reduced to slicks after Day One, but I needed those slicks on Day Three trying to keep up with a local Ford Focus who obviously knew his way to the best viewing points! Throughout the rally the Portuguese and Spanish spectators were very helpful, funny and entertaining, with jokes constantly being exchanged. There were no signs of their famous suicidal spectator behaviour or bad organisation. I made lots of new friends. The hotel in Vilamoura had a nice sea view, and the weather was ideal. I'm now considering going to the Poland Rally - it's a first - with Rally Travel, possibly with the Spain Rally following later. Thanks, Rally Travel, for all the help. Kind regards, Delores Weber "

This is the third time we've been to Spain - our second visit to Salou - and it's been faultless every year. Great weather, great hotel, great location and great price - and the maps and directions provided are first class! Would also highly recommend the Ford tour on the final service of the day - it was the best £50 I've ever spent! To get that close to a service and to mill about with the crew and the drivers was amazing. Will hopefully be back again next year! Cheers! "

It was our first time travelling with your team and we found them polite and helpful at all times. We have talked so much about the event and the arrangements you make that I think our group will be up to 11 for rally Spain 2009. When you have brochure available then please e mail. The hotel was good and central. The auction and after rally party were an additional bonus. We normally went to rally Cyprus and hired a jeep and with lots of difficulty seen some stages and shakedown but you packages are so much better. Sorry it took so long to say thanks! Bridget."

People say its the best rally in the world and I would agree. We got 9 stages and service 3 times. Great job by Neil and Jeff to fit all in. Jukka the bus driver was a star! Information pack was top class. BP Ford VIP tour was a good experience. Rallye Deutschland was another superb trip. David was very friendly and helpful. Good selection of stages again with Dhrontal on the sunday morning being the best. Welcome evening with Toni Gardemeister was a highlight. Submitted: 13th - 18th August 2008 Rally: Germany"Buy the Subaru hospitality pass. The access it gave was fantastic. We stood in Solberg’s service bay less than an hour before he was due in and were given an overview of the team set up in Germany and their performance so far in the rally. As soon as Atkinson and Solberg pulled in, they were out of the cars, coming over to say hello and sign autographs. The Rally Travel people organised for one of the WRC team’s drivers to come and talk to us in one of the hotels in Trier after a hard day’s rallying. Well impressed when Tony Gardemeister from Suzuki turned up. Getting to the stages? Rally Travel did a superb job. They picked us up on time every morning and got us to the stages avoiding all the traffic. Once we’d arrived, they explained the route the cars would take and recommended the best places to watch from. They’d clearly done their homework. The spectating areas were very close to the action so I got some really good photos of the cars – took nearly 700 over the four days. On the final day, at the super-special in the evening, we were sat in a café drinking “dunkel bier” on a street corner only a metre and a half from the WRC cars going past at “maximum attack”. Genius. This was our first rally and we’re now looking at Norway in the snow next year. Thanks Rally Travel. 10/10. "

Submitted: Feb 2008 Rally: Monte Carlo'08"Wow, what a Rally Travel trip this was, from Australia a buddy and i had made the decision to attend the monte carlo rally whilst on a 3 month snowboarding trip around europe. and what a fantastic choice it proved to be, not only did we have unrivaled spectating points around the rally with brilliant Rally Travel maps to help get us there. we also made good freinds with chris atkinson, celebrated australia day with him on the saturday evening and then got to share the bottle of mumm on the sunday after his highest wrc finish to date and then celebrate into the night with chris, petter, loeb and a great deal of the other drivers. this was definately the highlight of the entire 3 month trip."

We are thinking of going to Monte Carlo in January, especially with the Col de turinni stage and also the obvious Wales Rally GB in Nov/Dec. We were greeted by both Rally Travel & M Sport staff ( including Malcolm`s mum! ) who were all very welcoming & our guide was a wealth of knowledge from start to finish! The highlight has got to be the workshop where we were able to view some of the WRC cars that had just returned from the Acropolis rally & also Malcolm`s museum where he keeps some classic vehicles from over the years along with some of the trophies he has won during his successful time in Rallying from all over the world! Dovenby Hall is an amazing site which has been fully renovated & restored & is a credit to Malcolm Wilson & his team! We had a brilliant time at M Sport & would recommend it to any rally fan!"

Steve and Vicky were absolutely amazing guides & I was extremely impressed with Steve's background and knowledge of Rallying in general. I was even more impressed with his ability to interact with local officials as well as law enforcement. As you may have heard, despite having the proper FIA passes we were initially denied entry at the start and finish ceremonies. In each case, it was Steve's diplomatic ability that eventually got us in & I strongly feel that if it were not for him the event would not have been as enjoyable. Vicky, Steve and Johnny (the coach driver) were great and their knowledge of the stages was 1st Class. Who would have thought that 20 minutes before the first car entered the stage on Saturday we would be driving down it in a coach! The hotel on the Sunday was great; where else can you be at the bar or in a lift with a driver from the Ford World Rally Team?! I will be booking another Escorted tour with Rally Travel in 2007. ps.see above my photo of Chris Atkinson's 'off'. "

Although it was extremely cold, one morning hitting -22degrees spirits where always lifted by the sites of the Cars Sliding around sharpe bends or Flying over Collin's Crest. Service Park was not as good as Germany!!! could have beeen more in it, but it still met its purpose. The Ice Driving event day , went really well and was certainly enjoyed! again thanks to all in Rally Travel for making it yet again another successful trip .All in all we will be Definately coming back to Sweden next year! Steve Leighton and Vicki Bisset were brilliant reps and guides. The only criticism that I have is the distance that the hotel was away from the action, namely in Ludvika. (NB. Rally Travel will be basing their tour in the HQ town of Karlstad in 2008!) Other than that, well done Rally Travel"

WE HAD BOOKED MONTE CARLO AND GREECE WITH YOURSELVES BEFORE SO WE KNEW THE EXPERTISE WE WOULD GET!! IT WAS SARAHS' FIRST TIME AT A RALLY ABROAD AND SHE IS NOW BEGGING ME TO BOOK MEXICO ALREADY!! STAGES WERE EXCELLENT AND WELL SIGN POSTED, EVEN IF THE ROADS WERE A BIT TRICKY IN PLACES, THE TRACTION CONTROL WAS WORKING OVERTIME!! WE EVEN MANAGED TO PUT THE HIRE CAR IN A SNOW BANK ON SUNDAY BUT THE VERY FRIENDLY SWEDES MANGED TO GET US OUT ALTHOUGH IT DID TAKE 10 OF THEM!! NOTES WERE VERY INFORMATIVE AS USUAL AND VERY ACCURATE. WEATHER DID GET DOWN TO -25 ON SUNDAY BUT WE DID MANAGE TO SEE 0 DEGREES ON THE DRIVE BACK TO THE AIRPORT!! That is certainly the case with the Swedish Rally, when travelling with Rally Travel. The Swedish people do make you welcome and in certain cases, go out of there way to help you. Besides this the memories of the Swedish lighting fires to keep warm and where ever you went they all spoke ENGLISH. The rallying was what you expect from the second fastest rally of the year,Great!! The VIP trip to Ford on Friday night is a must. Where can you talk to Mikko Hirvonen,Matthew Wilson and they actually give time to talk to you, as a member of the public.Besides this you see the service of the cars close to and see the detail and effort the 102 Ford staff put in. We would like to give our thanks to Alan from Ford for his time and detailed talk on the team. IF you have not been to sweden GO you will not regret it. "

The accommodation in Perth excellent as it was around 15 foot away from the service park. As last year the escorted bus tour was super and got you close to all the stages. It was as I expected from Rally Travel a perfect event with no worries. It is just a pity that the WRC has lost one of the best rallies of the year. Roll on 2008 when it will hopefully returns to Australia."

I won't bother trying to explain why...you'll need to find that out for yourself. Do yourself a favour and book Rally 2007 Finland now! With Harry as your bus driver, Paul as your RallyTravel Rep, throw in a couple of mad Italian Gigi Galli fans and a bit of inter-bus rivalry to getting the finish first and I guarantee you will have the experience of a lifetime. Steve made sure we got to all of the locations and got the the van into great parcking spots limiting our amount of walking. The team guest pass was a wonderful supprise and it was fun to see the cars in service up close. The hotel was nice, the restaurant very good, and the staff helpful. I don't think it would have been possible to fit anything more in and we always had the opportunity to take a break if we wanted. We hope to take more tours with you in the future. Unfortunately the rally itself didn't live up to the hype this year - but this was more down to the overcrowding and my general lack fitness!! Overall I think Rally Travel provide a good package and I will definitely be using them again - and work on my fitness!"

We saw all the current cars being "created" in a surreal scenario; a stately home and estate alongside the state of the art of building where the WRC cars are built. I was impressed by the facilities, they were spotless. The cars and all the componants were there for you to see at close hand. Enthusiastic informed staff who never tired of any of the questions fired at them presented the tour. For the nostalgic there is also the pleasure of seeing Malcolm Wilson's own collection of his past rally cars including a very rare, possibly unique RS 1700. My thanks to Rally Travel for organising a "magic" day."

This was my first trip with RallyTravel and it will certainly not be my last, in fact Finland is already booked. For those who are considering the Monte I'd suggest going the Full Monte (apologies but it had to be done!) and take the fully escorted tour and the optional Helicopter to the Col de Turini. The organisation was superb with full credit to Dave, Neil and Jeff. How often can you get on a mini bus at your hotel and hop off literally 10m from the start of the stage? We bought the furry hats, walked across frozen lakes, sampled the local booze, sat at the open fires, endured MINUS 19 degrees and ten inches of snow and we loved it. Already planning to go back next year with six this time. Special thanks to David and the Rallytravel team........FIRST CLASS !! First time to Sweden for us both, what a FANTASTIC rally to visit. No problems accessing the super quick stages, very friendly locals inc. marshals and car park staff (no attitude problems here) and the service area was like being at a UK national rally . Rallytravel info was spot on. Car hire was very good, accomodation at Medskog was basic but comfortable (Barbro Folkessonn was very helpful). We extended our stay from the Monday before the rally and did some sightseeing, real Christmas card scenery in the Varmland. We had dinner in Alfie's with the Ford team the night before shakedown then, Thursday Shakedown, service and Ceremonial start viewed from the Grandstand!!!! Friday Lejen and Fridriksberg plus service Saturday service, then Likenas at motor stadium, Vargasen and service again Sunday service, Malta, final service with Marcus cutting his birthday cake ! and the finish in Karlstad. "

Rally Travel organised all the ticket, the accommodation (which was just a 20 second walk from service park), the coach tour to the stages on every day and even a VIP pass for the Subaru WRC service area. They provided a great service for Austrailia and I have already booked with them for Sweden in 2006. I look forward to watch may more WRC events with Rally Travel "

Our first overseas Rally experience and it certainly was one to remember. The organisation of the trip was like a military excercise - the knowledge and expertise of your staff was phenomenal! The hotel was in a beautiful location and we even began to enjoy the evening entertainment there (well, we did consume rather a lot of alcohol....!) Finally, thanks to Neil for sending us in the right direction for a few photos of some of the rally drivers on the Sunday night. Couldn't quite believe it when I had photos with Sebastien Loeb, then Daniel Elena and also Jon Desborough of ITV!! I was on cloud 9 for the rest of the evening and haven't stopped going on about it since (my husband is sick of me!). It's nice to be interested in a sport where the 'famous faces' are as down to earth as the rest of us. Did not intend going on another overseas Rally but we are already looking at the details for next year! Quite fancy Greece or Mexico within the next couple of years....."
