Most previous visitors to Rally Finland would agree that you really do need to stay in the HQ town of Jyvaskyla to get the most out of your visit, and our Escorted Tours are a great way of doing just that whilst experiencing the very best of the spectacular high-speed action. Our experienced team will have meticulously planned the tour itinerary weeks beforehand after visiting the stages and picking a selection of the best viewing areas available. We will visit many of the 'classic' Rally Finland stages, access some fantastic viewing areas, and always try to reduce the walking for our Guests!

Our SILVER Escorted Tour is based at the 4 star Scandic Laajavuori Hotel on the edge of the Rally HQ town Jyvaskyla (6km from Service). The hotel, formally known as the 'Rantasipi' used to be the HQ for the rally & still retains a feeling of being part of the main rally 'hub'. It's walking distance of the famous Laajavuori stage (used as the Power Stage in 2024!), and is usually used by the WRC teams for their guests and support team personnel. We will be providing a free return bus transfer into the centre for the Sunday evening celebrations.
We plan to follow the same basic Itinerary as our FIN GOLD tour below, but with potentially a little less time visiting the service park over the weekend. Please note that groups of 3 guests are priced as sharing 1 room with 3 separate beds. If groups of 3 prefer the option of 2 rooms please add the single and '2 person' prices together.

For 2027 we have once again secured a limited number of rooms at the 4 star Sokos Hotel Alexandra in the Rally HQ town of Jyvaskyla - just a short walk from the WRC Service Park, Podium, Harju Street Stage and the 'Rally Party' Zone'!

After meeting with one of our Rally Travel Tour Guides at Helsinki airport the tour begins with a 3 hour bus transfer North to our hotel in the rally area, through the beautiful Finnish countryside. After arrival at your hotel in Jyvaskyla there will be an exclusive 'Tour & Safety Briefing' which will include video presentation of the viewing areas we will be visiting in 2026 & the latest news & gossip from the build up to the rally. For 'GOLD' Tour guests there may be the opportunity to visit the Rally Ceremonial Start (TBC).
Thursday is always an action packed opening day of the rally with a visit to the SHAKEDOWN Stage, a great opportunity to see the cars at speed several times over the same stage. In 2026 this will again take place over the high-speed JUMPS of the classic Ruuhimaki Stage. The informal atmosphere at Shakedown is replicated in the WRC Service Area which we visit later in the morning for a couple of hours, a great opportunity to grab some photographs and that all-important 'Selfie' in a relaxed setting before the rally starts.
In the afternoon we usually host a 'Welcome Event' which in 2024 featured M-Sport's Legendary Boss (& ex-Driver) Malcolm Wilson and WRC Rally TV's Julian Porter. It's an exclusive event just for our Tour guests and leads nicely into the opening stage of the rally - the Jyvaskyla 'Street Stage' Harju, a short walk from our GOLD Tour Hotel and which brings to an end our first day at the rally.
When the rally starts properly on Friday morning it seems like the whole of Finland has got swept along with the excitement! We usually begin the day with a visit to the opening (Laukaa) stage where we have visited a tricky section of stage which saw spins & action galore in the past!
Then we'll usually visit 2 or 3 other stages before returning in the evening for either the 2nd running of the Harju Street-Stage or the evening Service, just across the road from one of our hotels in Jyvaskyla. In the past no other Tour Company has visited as many different stages on the opening day of the rally...
In the past, on the Saturday of Rally Finland we have been the only company to visit the legendary Ouninpohja stage by actually driving along part of the rally stage! Thanks to our relationship with the event organisers we were able to do that in 2024 however, as the stage will not now run in 2026 we will instead visit that other 'classic 1000 Lakes Rally' stage - Paijala and a fantastic 'rollercoaster' section of stage deep in the forest. We usually stay after the 1st stage run to watch the ever-entertaining 'Vetomies' National Rally inbetween.

In 2026 we will be visiting the finale of the rally with the 2 stages of Vaheri-Himos, the 2nd run being the important point-scoring PowerStage. We'll be there to see the Podium and winners ceremonybefore returning to their hotels to prepare for the 'After-Rally Activities' in Jyvaskyla centre that evening...
There is always plenty of swapping of stories & photographs on the final run back to Helsinki Airport on the Monday morning, relating to both the action on the stages and the post-rally celebrations the previous evening! Our Rally Travel Tour Guides will have kept everyone informed of all the news and results from each day of the rally throughout the tour, and the all-important daily running order via our Rally Travel App.
As we have Rally Fans joining our Tours from all over the World, we do not include flights in any of our packages. Guests can choose and book flights themselves which best suit their requirements, so long as they work around our Escorted Tour's designated airport and transfer times/dates.
We suggest www.skyscanner.net to find flight options, and then check direct with the airline websites for true availability and prices.
If you can not find suitable flights on the days that are required then there is the option of arriving a day earlier (or staying on an extra night) at Helsinki airport or city. There is also a good train network that runs from the airport to Jyvaskyla centre (opposite the Sokos Alexandra Hotel) at www.vr.fi
